Overview
The CleverTap app natively connects your VTEX store to the CleverTap customer engagement platform. Once installed and configured with your CleverTap Project ID, passcode, and region, it automatically captures shopper behavior across browsing, cart, checkout, and purchase, keeps your product catalog in sync, and lets you reach customers through CleverTap's web channels. No manual tags, data layer work, or additional development is required.

- Server-side order events sourced from VTEX OMS, so revenue is attributed even when the shopper leaves the page
- Product catalog synchronization from VTEX to CleverTap, refreshed every 24 hours
- Per-event toggles in the Admin, so each merchant controls exactly what is sent
- Choose whether the Charged event fires when an order is placed or only once payment is approved
- Optional tracking for unidentified visitors, so pre-login behavior is not lost
